Amateur spider keeper Yegor Konkin, 23, displays a venomous Phormictopus antillensis spider on his face at his parents' apartment in the town of Minusinsk, some 425 km (264 miles) south of Russia's Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, May 20, 2012. Konkin, a hobbyist who has collected spiders for two years, lives in St.-Petersburg and in Minusinsk and keeps approximately 50 venomous spiders of various species, which are deadly to humans and other animals.

A passer-by photographs one of the dismantled pieces of 'Forever Marilyn', a sculpture by Seward Johnson, as it is prepared for removal from Pioneer Court May 8, 2012 in Chicago, Illinois [USA]. The stainless steel and aluminium sculpture, which stands 26 feet tall and weighs 34,000 pounds, was inspired by Marilyn Monroe?s iconic scene in the 1955 movie 'The Seven Year Itch'. The sculpture, which has been on display in Chicago since last July, will next be displayed in Palm Springs, California.

In this handout provided by NASA, sun spots are seen as the moon moves into a full eclipse position after reaching annularity during the first annular eclipse seen in the U.S. since 1994 on May 20, 2012. Differing from a total solar eclipse, the moon in an annular eclipse appears too small to cover the sun completely, leaving a ring of fire effect around the moon. The eclipse is casting a shallow path crossing the West from west Texas to Oregon then arcing across the northern Pacific Ocean to Tokyo, Japan.
