Officials in the Middle East gear up to deal with swarms of millions of locusts.

1. Locusts Invade

The Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development tracked the locusts swarming near the village of Kmehin in the Negev desert on March 5. The agency was preparing plans to fumigate them on March 6.
