IRAN: THE FORGOTTEN HUMAN FACE

Reading the western media, including the alternative ones, one can distinctly hear the war drums intensifying, especially concerning Iran. Read some of the recent news on Iran:

There are of course few dissenting voices, for example here, warning of the dire consequences of an attack on Iran, but given the controlled western media, there are not as many as those continually beating the war drums.

What has conveniently been forgotten are the facts that Iran is a sovereign nation, just like any other nations, and that its people are as human as its belligerent intimidators and as we all are. In the midst of these war drums, there is that human face of Iran that has deliberately been buried by the western powers and its controlled media to protect and promote their war agenda, and which are rarely seen...

And le's not forget too Iran is a Muslim country. The majority of its people may be Shiite but they say the shahadah, pray, fast, pay zakat, just like any Muslim do. They read the Qur'an in large numbers during Ramadan, just like we do (although we do in lesser numbers)...
