Top 10 Tech This Week (04/26/2013)
By Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai,
Mashable, 27 April 2013.

It was another exciting week in tech. If you missed it, worry not - that's why we're here with our Top 10 Tech. This week had a bit of everything, from an exciting new technology for long-distance lovers, to NASA launching smartphones in space.

At Mashable, we also had the chance to fully review the much-hyped Samsung Galaxy S 4, which our senior tech analyst Christina Warren called "the best Android phone ever."

Meanwhile, Tokyo-based entrepreneur Takahito Iguchi unveiled another Google Glass competitor, called "Telepathy." The entrepreneur will try to get it to market first to steal Google's thunder, but it remains to be seen if consumers will respond to his product with the same kind of excitement.

As far as life-changing products go, you can't beat something that might make long-distance relationships bearable. That's exactly the ambitious goal of Fundawear, a technology that combines a smartphone app and tiny vibrating motors sewn into female and male underwear.

In other news, we had General Motors claiming to have developed the most efficient electric car ever, which supposedly sports an astounding 119 miles per gallon. Oh, and we've also seen a touchscreen that can actually be pinched, stretched and poked, and a smartphone that incorporates braille for the visually impaired.
