EURO: 'IS A BREAK-UP LOOMING?'



Is a break-up of the Euro looming? That was the question of the year – and it remains unanswered. The new president of the European Central Bank or ECB [Mario Draghi], sent conflicting messages with this regard within days – before giving a surprise Christmas present to the Euro banking sector.

Not clear, what this all means? There were also mixed economic indicators from two major Euro watchers, the United States and Britain. In the following video, Host Stefan Grobe [of Euronews] tries to make sense of all this with Thomas Costerg, economist at Standard Chartered in London.
