VIDEO: GRAVITATIONAL WAVES 101

What are gravitational waves and how are they detected? These waves are ripples in space-time, sometimes caused by neutron stars colliding. They were recently recorded in the groundbreaking LIGO-Virgo observation. Learn more about these ripples in spacetime from the following video by National Geographic.
