This spectacular photograph of a double rainbow was taken by Jonmikel Pardo on 1 September 2012 from his backyard in Lander, Wyoming, USA. Here, an always fainter secondary bow forms outside the primary, hence the appearance of a double rainbow. The secondary bow usually disappears more quickly than the primary.
