By now, everyone is aware of the electronic waste (e-waste) we produce and their impact on the planet. Once our great gadgets that we have come to rely on become obsolete, they end up as garbage at landfills where they become part of a growing environmental concern. As the following infographic shows, more that 140 million mobile phones end up in landfills each year, or 4 phones every second.
