Sitting for extended periods of time can cause many negative effects to the body and mind, one of which involves the eye. This is known as the Computer Vision Syndrome (or Digital Eye Strain) - the eye and vision-related problems that result from extended use of computers, tablets, e-readers, cell phones, or TVs.
