Watch the shocking moments when a massive sinkhole opens up and swallows a Japanese street in Fukuoka on 8 November 2016. The sinkhole has crashed banking systems, and caused power outages and major traffic disruptions in the city. It formed in the middle of Fukuoka city street, spanning the entire length of the four-lane road. The cause of the collapse is under investigation but Fukuoka officials have linked it to subway construction nearby.
