STRIKING NASA SATELLITE IMAGES OF HAZE OVER MALAYSIA AND SINGAPORE

New Picture

The above is an image at ground level of the haze over Johor Bahru on Thursday morning. How does the image looks like from space? Satellite images of the haze have been shown in the local media (for example here), but here are two original satellite images from NASA. They clearly captured striking images of smoke billowing from the Indonesian wildfires and blowing east toward - and engulfing - southern Malaysia and Singapore.
