VIDEO: A BREATHTAKING TIME-LAPSE OF A SUPERCELL STORM

New Picture 110
This is a time-lapse video of a supercell storm taken by photographer Mike Olbinski near Booker, Texas, USA. Supercell storms are characterized by rotating winds rising into the storm called a mesocyclone; for this reason they are sometimes referred to as rotating thunderstorms. Supercells are among the biggest, strongest and sometimes most destructive kinds of storms imaginable. They can indeed be terrifying, yet this time-lapse makes it look beautiful!
