Absurd Health and Safety Laws

Health and Safety is very important in order to keep people safe, particularly in the workplace. There are many rules and regulations set in place that must be complied with in order to make people aware of all the hazards and any dangerous situations that people may encounter. However, in recent times we’ve all heard stories where health and safety has been taken too far.

Our latest infographic reports some of these absurd health and safety rules and stories, whether they were from schools, the workplace, or even at the sea side. For example, did you know that university students were told that they were no longer allowed to throw their mortar boards in the air at graduation as there had been some collisions in the past when students have then tried to catch them again?
