If you have ever browsed Pinterest, you're probably familiar with some of the crazy life-hacks pinners have posted. Want whiter teeth? Rub them with a banana peel. Want thicker eyelashes? Apply a layer of Vaseline to your eyelids every night. The list goes on and on. Do any of these often-outrageous fixes work? Probably not, but that doesn't stop us from trying.

With all the buzz life-hacks receive on social media, it's easy to fall into the belief that they are a new concept. However, little known fact: people have ALWAYS used life-hacks! Every prominent society throughout history has documented life-hacks for every ailment you could imagine. Hair loss is no stranger to these curious remedies. From the time of the ancient Egyptians to present day, there have been innumerable remedies for hair loss, ranging from reasonable to REALLY strange. Here are a few of our favorites!
